ABOUT

Konstantinos Koutsoliotas is an award-winning Greek filmmaker, cinematographer and visual effects artist working across genre cinema, folklore, horror, comedy and myth.

With a background in visual effects and independent filmmaking, Konstantinos has built a body of work that combines handmade imagination with cinematic scale. His films are often populated by outsiders, ghosts, monsters, musicians, dreamers and people standing at the edge of the ordinary world, where the strange begins to break through.

His feature work includes The Winter, The Fear of Looking Up and Minore. His latest feature, Minore, is a Greek Lovecraftian monster comedy set in a seaside town where music, folklore, food, humour and cosmic horror collide. The film screened internationally at festivals including International Film Festival Rotterdam, Thessaloniki International Film Festival, FrightFest London and Miami Sci-Fi, winning multiple awards and later receiving recognition from The New York Times as one of five science fiction films to stream.

Alongside his directing, Konstantinos has worked for many years in visual effects, bringing that experience into his own films through a distinctive mix of atmosphere, practical creativity, creature work and emotional genre storytelling.

He is currently developing new film and television projects that continue his fascination with myth, monsters, music, memory and the haunted spaces between comedy and darkness.
